Confidentiality and Privacy

Tidy & White offers complete confidentiality and discretion, and we will never share information to any third parties without your permission. The handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Tidy & White is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and is fully compliant with all relevant legislation. By entering into contract with Tidy & White you agree that your personal details will be held securely, to be used only in connection with the services carried out by Tidy & White Ltd.

Cancellation Policy

We appreciate you may need to reschedule a session you have booked. All rebooking sessions must be completed within four months of the original session time and date. There will be no additional charge for rebooking a session.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of the session will be refunded in full.

Should you cancel within less than two working days notice with no intention of rescheduling your session to another time and date, you will be refunded as follows:

·  In respect of the Service Deal *50%

·  In respect of starting The Tidying Festival (KonMari Method), The Ume Deal and The Sakura Virtual Deals.

*Total cost of deal less 50% of one session being the cost of Service Deal applies the same to Tidy & White deals and the Block Hours.

· In respect of Additional Hours *100%

Cancellations made on the same day as the booked session will not be refunded.

Cancellations of rebooked sessions are not eligible for a refund.

Working Hours

Tidy & White always advises a consultation prior to booking a Tidying Sessions. During the consultation we will work with you to determine how many sessions you may require. However, it is not always possible to give an accurate estimate and you may require more sessions or hours than initially thought depending on a variety of factors as we try to meet each job and client’s unique needs.

The number of sessions is dependent on the following factors:

·  The size of your home and volume of items to be addressed;

·  The number of categories you want to commit to;

· Your pace in determining, using decision-making skills & what you ‘sparks joy’;

·  Your preparation before each session;

·  Your willingness to continue to work independently following our session(s).

Typically one session will range from three to six hours, but will not exceed six hours unless Additional Hours are purchased. This amount of time is generally enough to see significant progress in any one category.

Should the time of the session go over six hours, you will be charged KonMari Method™  £60.00 per hour for the Tidy & White deals are £75.00 per Hour and additional hour £65.00. Tidy & White will always inform you when the booked time is up and obtain your consent to continue if you wish to do so. Additional Hours can only be purchased in conjunction with a Tidying Session.

Tidy & White will always work at your own pace as tidying can be physically and emotionally demanding. Breaks can be taken as you wish, however please be aware that these breaks will count towards the duration of the booked session. Should the session duration take place during breakfast, lunchtime or dinner we may need to take a break (no more than half an hour myself) and you will not be charged for this time. This will be arranged prior to the session starts so you are aware of timings.

Working Conditions

Tidying is a very personal journey and requires concentration. Tidy & White advises that you work one on one with a consultant. It is therefore strongly advised that family members, children, others you may share a home with and pets should not be present when a session is taking place.

Access

Please ensure there is good access immediately outside your home and inside your home.Tidy & White is unable to move furniture due to reasons of health and safety.

Should the working area be considered unsafe Tidy & White reserves the right to cancel the session without refund.

Removal of possessions

The KonMari Method™ focuses on deciding which of your possessions and items spark joy and whether you want to keep them. During the process, you will find yourself parting with possessions or items that you decide no longer spark joy. The decision to keep or discard an item is entirely yours. We only guide you to help you determine what sparks joy in your life. Tidy & White cannot be held liable for any possessions or items that have been discarded. Applies the same for the Tidy & White deals and Blocks of hours. As well for the virtual sessions.

We encourage recycling items where possible or donations to registered charities. You may even choose to sell possessions or items that no longer spark joy. Tidy & White is unable to provide a valuation service. In any event, possessions or items disposed of are your sole responsibility. Tidy & White is unable to remove these from your home.

Photography

Tidy & White uses before and after photographs to support a client’s tidying journey and these photographs may be shared with KonMari™ Media Inc. privately and for the purposes of demonstrating completion of our session only.

Tidy & White uses before and after photographs to inspire others on this website and on social media platforms. They are always anonymous; the client cannot be identified through the photographs. We will always ask for your expressed consent to use your photographs in this way.

Cleaning

Tidy & White is not a cleaning service and we are therefore unable to provide cleaning services.

Travel Costs

All services paid for include travel costs provided the services are carried out in London zones 1-4. Outside of these areas, travel expenses and additional fees will be charged and pre-agreed before a session takes place.

Payment Terms

Payment is required in advance of your full session and booked through this website by email unless otherwise discussed. Tidy & White accepts payment by  Bank transfers at the moment, once the invoice is issued.

(Eventually, you will be able to use a debit card, credit card Visa, MasterCard,  American Express and Paypal.)

Insurance

Tidy & White provides an in-home service and whilst every care will be taken with your possessions whilst in your home, Tidy & White cannot be held liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate and appropriate insurance for your possessions.
